College and Career Program

Director – Laurie Smith
Established in 2009 to help prepare high school students for entrance and matriculation through college and careers, and to equip them with the knowledge and skills to think critically and become proactive leaders. This program is offered to all high school students who graduated from New Song Academy. There are currently 28 high school and college students in the program. Participants in the program are provided with free tutoring, academic and professional workshops, guest speakers, and college tours. Students who participate in the College and Career program are eligible for a “Last dollar” scholarship from New Song to help cover their unmet financial needs for college.

The mission of CCP is to prepare high school students for entrance and matriculation through college and career, and to equip them with the knowledge and skills to think critically and become proactive leaders.
